General dentistry also known as dental medicine and oral medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis prevention and treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity. Cosmetic Dentistry is generally used to refer to any dental work that improves the appearence of teeth, gums and bite. It primarily focuses on improvement in dental aesthetics in colour, position, shape, size, alignment and overall smile appearence.

Cosmetic problems includes-

ii. Protrusion of upper or lower jaw.
iii. Gap between teeth.
iv. Discoloration of teeth etc.
